Set up on April 21st 2005 by the founding fathers, Paul Law, Paul Hildreth, Bob Eldridge and Craig Buttery.

The IRIBF was set up to govern and regulate the sport of Rock-It-Ball worldwide and to ensure that the sport is developed in a structured and sustainable way and to set up National Governing Bodies which will govern the sport on a National basis. Any organisation that wishes to participate in the many IRIBF sanctioned events, must become a member. Any player wishing to take part in IRIBF sanctioned events must be a member of the IRIBF.

The Federation is currently working towards Olympic recognition and it will take all members of the Federtion to achieve this goal
